Spring! It's really coming, and it's time to start thinking about spring projects -

In the first of two classes on April 19^th, 2010, we will talk about the joys of growing your own gourds. You will have the opportunity to plant and take home your own gourd seeds for later outdoor planting. The class will include a guide for growing gourds, a short description of multiple uses for various gourds, and demonstrating the correct way of planting gourds.   All materials will be supplied for each student. Cost: $15  Class time: 9:30am-noon

The second of these classes on April 26^th, 2010, will focus on the creation of time. We will be making a timeless treasure – a gourd clock. This class will include some of the basic techniques for cleaning gourds and the creation of a gourd clock to take home. All materials will be supplied for each student. Cost: $25  Class time:  9:30am-noon
